Willamette Valley Tour

Want something different? Then join us for a get-away to the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Just south of Portland, the northern Willamette Valley lays on the same 45 degree latitude as Burgundy and is home to many of Oregons's oldest and best known wineries. As Burgundy is the region to produce great red wines from Pinot Noir grapes so is the Willamette Valley. In addition to the fabulous Pinot Noirs, crisp clean Pinot Gris is the primary white wine from the region.

After meeting at the Portland airport we will board our private executive coach to begin our wonderful weekend of tasting and education as we head south to the lush, green Willamette Valley.

Each day begins with a Continental breakfast at the hotel. We will visit the Van Duzer tasting room and enjoy a private barbecue with a grand view of the vineyards and the Baskett Slough Wildlife Refuge. We will be lead through a sensory program at the beautiful Anne Aim, have a private tasting with the wine makers at both Penner-Ash and Firesteed. Other wineries scheduled for private tastings and events include Rex Hill, Bethel Heights, Elk Cove, Duck Pond, Erath and Eola Hills. A special tasting at Argyle with their focus on sparkling wines. Each day we will have gourmet lunch and dinners at one of the region's top restaurants or winery.
