Debra Schommer Klein, Media Buyer

A Broadcast Advertising Club of Chicago scholar, Debra Schommer Klein completed a fellowship at Foote, Cone, & Belding and then worked as Assistant Director of Media Buying / Client Services at Kelly, Scott & Madison, before coming to the Axelrod team in 1987.

Through years of diverse experience at Axelrod and Associates, Schommer Klein has an expert reputation in the intricate nature of political media buying – creating and implementing effective paid media plans based upon campaign strategy, budget, and the coalescence of political and media research, tracking competitive information, and securing fair and equal treatment according to FCC regulations. She has established strong working relationships with stations and reps locally and nationwide.

Schommer Klein was born and raised in Chicago. In 1985, she graduated with a B.A. in Psychology / Marketing from Lake Forest College. She resides in Los Angeles with her husband.
